Member of the Environmental Law and Sustainability team. Lawyer with a specialization in Strategy and International Negotiation from the University of Brasília (UnB) and in Strategic Carbon Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV). Held positions in the public sector, including Executive Secretary at the International Cooperation Unit of the Federal Prosecution Service.

Marilda has solid experience in international cooperation projects on socio-environmental issues and climate change, such as: Study on Social Bonds and Payment for Success (PFS) in Latin America; Project for Strengthening the National Strategy for Integrated Disaster Risk Management; Study on the Environmental Profile of Brazil; Triangular Cooperation Program for Agricultural Development in Mozambique; Support Program for the Amazon Protection and Monitoring Center; Evaluation Report on the Impact of the Environmental Sanitation Project of the Baía de Todos os Santos; Development of the Master Plan for the Recovery of Degraded Areas in the State of Pará (Japan International Cooperation Agency).
